Advanced Technology Supporting Your Recovery
Tecar Therapy
TECAR (Transfer of Energy Capacitive and Resistive) therapy uses high-frequency currents to stimulate tissue healing and reduce inflammation. It enhances blood circulation, accelerates recovery, and is especially effective for joint and muscle injuries.
Schockwaves
Shockwave therapy delivers focused acoustic waves to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. It’s widely used to treat chronic pain, tendon injuries, and calcifications, helping to break down scar tissue and improve mobility.
Ultrasound
Therapeutic ultrasound uses sound waves to penetrate deep into soft tissues, promoting circulation, reducing inflammation, and accelerating tissue repair. It’s commonly applied for tendonitis, muscle strains, and joint stiffness.
Laser
Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) uses light energy to stimulate cell regeneration and reduce inflammation. It’s a painless, non-invasive treatment that supports tissue healing and provides relief for musculoskeletal pain.
Electrotherapy
Electrotherapy involves the use of electrical currents to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and stimulate muscle activity. It’s beneficial for both acute and chronic conditions, including nerve dysfunction and post-operative recovery.
FAQ
How long does a treatment last?
Each treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes
Are home visits available?
Yes, home visits are possible upon request from the doctor on the medical prescription, especially for patients with reduced mobility or specific medical needs. We kindly invite you to contact us in advance to arrange an appointment and confirm the availability of this service.
What do I have to bring with me at the first session?
You must not forget to bring the medical prescription with you as well as any other important document such as MRI, scanner or radiography.
What happens if I miss an appointment?
In the event of a delay of more than 15 minutes or if an appointment is not cancelled 24 hours in advance, the patient will be fully charged for the cost.
Do I need a doctor’s prescription?
In many cases, yes. If your treatment is to be covered by your health insurance, you usually need a medical prescription from your doctor. For private sessions, a referral may not be necessary.
What is the validity of a medical prescription?
The medical prescription needs to be sent to the CNS for approval within 31 days from the date of issue. If the prescription is not sent to the CNS by the end of these 31 days it is not valid anymore. The process is done by the physiotherapist and the sessions should take place within 3 months from the date of issue.
Tariffs and Reimbursement
CNS
The reimbursement rate is set at 70% for treatments related to common conditions.
Treatments for serious conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and treatments for children under 18 are covered at 100%.
The patient pays only their share directly to the physiotherapist. The physiotherapist then returns the prescription to the patient and provides an invoice clearly indicating both the patient’s share and the portion covered by the CNS.
PRIVATE INSURANCE
The physiotherapist provides an invoice at the end of the treatment indicating the total amount to be paid. After payment, the patient must submit the invoice to their insurance provider in order to request reimbursement for their share, according to the applicable coverage rate.
